If someone is badly hurt or suddenly very ill, call now and come straight here. Care starts before any payment is discussed.
Anywhere in the Philippines, you can also call 911.
What to do

Call first if you can
Call the hospital's emergency line, or 911 anywhere in the Philippines, and say where you are.

Come straight to the ER
Walk in or arrive by ambulance. A nurse checks every arrival first and sees the most urgent patients first.
- 03
Care comes before payment
No deposit or advance payment is required before emergency care. Philippine law (RA 10932) forbids asking for one.
- 04
Paperwork after
A relative or companion can complete admission and PhilHealth papers while you are being treated.
What to bring, if you can
- A valid ID, if you have one with you
- Your PhilHealth ID or number
- Your HMO card
- A list of the medicines you take
- Any recent results or discharge papers
Do not wait to gather papers in an emergency. A relative can bring them later.
Your rights on payment
No deposit or advance payment may be asked before emergency or serious-case care (RA 10932). Once the patient is stable, admitting explains the room, the costs and your coverage.
