How the bill worksWhat is a case rate?
PhilHealth pays a fixed amount for many illnesses and procedures, called a case rate. It is split between the hospital's charges and your doctor's fee, and it is deducted from your bill before you pay.
What do I need to bring?
Your PhilHealth number, a valid ID and, if asked, your member data record. For a dependent, bring proof of how they are related to the member.

No Balance Billing covers certain members, such as sponsored and indigent members, for qualifying care. Whether it applies to you depends on your membership and the care you receive. Billing will confirm it before discharge.
Is there a limit?
PhilHealth sets a yearly limit on covered days of confinement for a member and their dependents. Billing can check how many days you have left.
When should I tell the hospital I am a member?
At admission, or as soon as you can. Coverage is easiest to apply when the hospital knows early.
